Mode

modes by which you can choose to make payment for the
books depends on two things:

place from which you will be making/sending us payment
(from within India, or from outside India. |

If
you're ordering the books by sending us an order
form and payment in advance: |
By
Demand Draft (DD) or by Ordinary Money Order,
or by Speed Money Order — but not by cheque
(DD would be the best and safest option):
1).
If you’re planning to send a DD, please do
four things:
| (i) |
Make
the DD payable to the “Adult Faculties
Council”. |
| (ii) |
Make
the DD payable at Ernakulam. Yes, at ERNAKULAM. |
| (iii) |
Make
the DD “A/c Payee only”. |
| (iv) |
Write
your (a) name and (b) the name/names of the
book(s) you’re ordering on the back of
the DD.
Send the DD and an Order
form (make sure you fill the Order Form
in completely, after you print it out) to
us by a leading courier service/speed post
(or by Registered Post Ack. Due). Important:
Do not send your DD and Order Form
to us by ordinary post.
IMPORTANT:
(1) If you want your DD and order form to be delivered to us extra fast (that is, faster than the registered post), please use the services of the Speed Post or a top-of-the-line courier agency that makes delivery directly. Do NOT send your payment and order form to us through a courier agency that makes delivery through a multi-layered network of agents and sub-agents. This is not safe. Such courier agencies or their agents and sub-agents may not deliver your packet to the addressee promptly. What is worse, they may even deliver the packet to unauthorized persons in the neighbourhood, rather than at the right address, outside office hours.
(2) If you are planning to send the DD and order form to us through a courier agency, please write the words “Deliver only to addressee” prominently, immediately above our address, on the face of the packet that you hand over to the courier.
(3) Please also preserve the way-bill/receipt that the courier agency gives you at the time of collecting packets from you for delivery. This proof of despatch will help you track the packet sent by you.

2).
If you’re planning to send a Money Order
(Speed/Ordinary), you should write, in the
space for communication, in the MO:
a) your name & address, and
b) name/names of the book(s) you’re ordering. |
By
an "A/c Payee" or "Crossed"
Demand Draft (or Banker's Draft or Banker's Cheque).
Please
note that the Draft must be drawn in favour of
“Adult Faculties Council” on a Bank
at ERNAKULAM. Yes, the DD must be payable at ERNAKULAM
(in India), and nowhere else. |
Important
notes:
(1) There are no additional charges (for now) for
despatching the books to an address within
India through the modes of despatch mentioned in
this table. However, for despatch of books to an
address outside India, please add Rs.315.00
(USD 7.00 approx) to the price of the books, regardless
of the number of books you are ordering at a time.
(2) You should not mail to us Indian or foreign
currency in hard cash.
